Baked Buffalo Chicken Dip

*  There is prep time on this recipe due to the chicken cooking in the crockpot

Ingredients

  • 8-ounce package cream cheese
  • 2 cups cooked chicken shredded(small package or boneless skinless breasts)
  • 1 Bottle Hot Sauce (I use Frank's)
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (eyeball it)
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese (eyeball it)

  1. Place chicken breasts in your crockpot
  2. Pour hot sauce over chicken
  3. Cook on high for 3-4 hours
  4. Using 2 forks shred the chicken then let it continue to cook for at least 20 minutes
  5. In a mixing bowl add hot chicken, cream cheese and butter
  6. Pour mixture into pie plate
  7. Top with just enough blue cheese dressing and cheddar cheese to cover (adding too much cheese will cause a thick skin to form that will make eating the dip difficult once the cheese cools).

  8. Heat the dip in a 350 degree oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  9. Serve with Scoops (Tortillas or Fritos) alongside for dipping

Enjoy!
