* There is prep time on this recipe due to the chicken cooking in the crockpot
Ingredients
- 8-ounce package cream cheese
- 2 cups cooked chicken shredded(small package or boneless skinless breasts)
- 1 Bottle Hot Sauce (I use Frank's)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing (eyeball it)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese (eyeball it)
- Place chicken breasts in your crockpot
- Pour hot sauce over chicken
- Cook on high for 3-4 hours
- Using 2 forks shred the chicken then let it continue to cook for at least 20 minutes
- In a mixing bowl add hot chicken, cream cheese and butter
- Pour mixture into pie plate
- Top with just enough blue cheese dressing and cheddar cheese to cover (adding too much cheese will cause a thick skin to form that will make eating the dip difficult once the cheese cools).
- Serve with Scoops (Tortillas or Fritos) alongside for dipping
Enjoy!
