Roasted Chickpeas - Oven or Air Fryer
Ingredients
- 3 cans chick peas (aka garbanzo beans)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon real salt
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven or air fryer to 400.
- Drain and rinse chick peas in a colander
- Let them dry for a bit then wipe with a paper towel in a circular motion to try to dry a bit more
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir until well coated.
- For the oven I separate into 2 different roasting pans or cooksheets
- Spread chickpeas out bake at 400 for about 20 minutes. Stir and continue baking. Shake them every 10 -15 minutes and cook until chickpeas are crispy.This takes about an hour. When you think they are done they probably aren't make sure they are crunchy! All of them!
- For the Air Fryer just dump them in the basket and make sure you shake every 5-10 minutes. They should take about 15 -20 mins depending how crunchy you want them!
