Portobello Mushroom Pizzas!

Personal Portobello Pizza Recipe
 
This Pizza is so good. 
When you are trying to avoid grains
this is the way to go!

Ingredients:
Serves 2
4 Portobello mushrooms - stems taken off and the black gills scraped out. Be GENTLE!
2 to 3 cups sauce - I used my turkey meat sauce recipe from this blog, that I freeze in small portions
2-3 low fat cheese sticks or shredded Mozzarella cheese
Any additional veggies that you would like. If not using a meat sauce then you can use turkey pepperoni or plain pepperoni for the meat



  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  • Spray a pan and place your mushrooms on it
  • Cook for 8 mins
  • Take the mushrooms out and blot dry with a paper towel, be careful because they can break
  • Add your sauces, any additional toppings and then cheese
  • Place back in the oven for about 10 mins or until the cheese gets that great melted look. I usually put them under the broiler for a minute at the end
